Local students serve as senate pages

Addison Gooden, of Clarksdale, A’Laijha Johnson, of Friars Point, and Zakiya Robinson, of Lambert, recently served as pages for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. The three pages from Coahoma County are pictured with Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, right, and Senator Robert L. Jackson, who sponsored their visit. Gooden is the daughter of Jeffrey & Glenda Gooden and attends Coahoma Early College High School. Robinson is the daughter of Alice Robinson and Senator Robert L. Jackson and attends Madison S. Palmer High School. Johnson is the daughter of Erich Johnson and Wanda Cook.

When asked about the week, each of the local students had different experiences.
